Violent Entertainment: A Review of its Implications on Children’s Aggressive Behavior and Addiction

Children are easily influenced even by entertainment they consume. Since 1960s, violent acts in have been discussed literature as that express physical force against oneself or others, either with without the use of a weapon, compelling action one's will response to pain being hurt, murder, actually causing harm and killing. Hence, main research question this study is explore gaps suggest future direction study, which related among children its implications. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method used review evolving around implications using Scopus database within 12 years (2010 – January 2022) has found significant pattern about consumed children. Based on analysis involving articles (1) “violent entertainment” “children” AND "implication"; (2)"violent entertainment" "children" "aggressive behaviour" OR “aggressive”; (3) "violent behaviour"; (4) "addiction", three aggressive behaviour, behaviour addiction should be prevented Aggressive most implication potentially lasts until adulthood ability create cycle violent/aggressive generations. In nutshell, everyone including parents, society, authority plays an important role ensuring can reduced protect every child.
